Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Sjögren syndrome (SS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects 2–3% of the adult population. Central nervous system involment in this disease is rare and may show clinical and radiological findings similar to multiple sclerosis (MS). Here, a 32-years-old female patient who was referred with the complaint of headache with vasculitis- like lesions in brain imaging studies had diagnosis of Sjogren’s syndrome. CNS involvement in SS must be diagnosed and treated early that is very important for the prognosis of the disease. Vasculitis of brain could be presented with simple headache and Sjögren syndrome should be in differential diagnosis for early diagnosis and treatment, prevention of complication disease.
