Abstract
Nocturnal enuresis is defined as bedwetting at least once a week in children older than 5 years of age. It plays an important role in pediatric practice due to its high prevalence, psychosocial impact, controversial etiology and treatment. The evaluation of nocturnal enuresis reguires a thorough history, a complete physical examination, and urinalysis. Having no organic causes, children with nocturnal enüresis may then be started with favorable treatment without advanced investigations. Treatment modality must be chosen in accordance with child's age and sociocultural properties of the parents.
