Recurrerıces after inguinal hemia repair continue currently to be an important problem. However, specialized surgeons in this field have reported significantly lower recurrence rates than those who perform herniorrhaphies occasionally as a part of broad-based general surgical practice. In this study, it is concluded that specialization in hernia repair reduce the recurrence of groin hernias at a considerable rate.
