Abstract

A 50 years old woman with a previous partial pericystectomy operation for liver hydatidosis developed one year later a recurrent mass in her left hypochondrium. Her MRI revaled a 22cm septated cyst within left lobe of liver. Her CA19-9 level was high(79<33 U/ml).An expanded left hepatectomy was undertaken with the pre-diagnosis of cystadenoma recurrence. There was no recurrence after two years.
