Abstract
The present study examines intracranial pressure, biochemical and hematologic alterations after acute head injury. There were statistically significant differences for pH, HCO3, K, Hematocrit and Oxygen saturation among the grades of patients (p> 0.05). The findings of this study also demonstrated that continuous monitoring of intracranial pressure may provide an earlier warning of neurological decompensation and reliable indicator for treatment.
