Abstract

If the displacement of T drain occurs by 5th. day of operation, the drain should be replaced again by a reoperation. In our case, displacement occured at 3rd. postoperative day. The drain was kept inside and connected to an active aspiration system. After a close observation, patient did well without problem. Careful observation and active drainage of displaced T drain are well enough and may prevent some reoperations.
